I realize it has been quite a while since you worked at my home.

I had a condo in Andover that was flooded, due to negligence of the association to maintain the heating system properly. Thousands of gallons of water were in my home. It destroyed the floors, walls, kitchen, etc.

While dealing with all the problems this created, I contacted several contractors in the area. Very few were willing to even look at the property. The ones who did quoted ridiculous amounts to do the repairs.

When I called you, there was no hesitation. You came out to my home and contacted people to help me with drying out the area & removing the carpets, so that I did not have a mold problem.

We went over everything that needed to be done. When someone was sub-contracted to be at my home you personally brought them to meet me first. My impression was that you knew all of these people personally (plumbers, electricians, etc.). You made all the phone calls, got all the quotes and when I agreed with the quotes, you scheduled the work as well as supervised and worked with the crews to keep the job moving so I could move back into my home.

I cannot tell you how much I appreciate everything you and your workers did for me. I remember a worker installing a piece of wood that you decided you didn’t like and made him remove it and re-do what he had completed. In all honesty, I probably wouldn’t have noticed the defect in the wood, but you did and would not leave it as it was.

It is for all the reasons stated above that I have referred people I know to you. Referring a contractor to friends and family is something I never used to do. For the last couple of years, I have given everyone I know your phone number when they mention needing some work done.

Thank you so much for all you did for me & the people I have referred you to. I can honestly say, if I need any work done in the future, J. Tierney Construction will be my first and only phone call.
